Monioluwaniohungbogbo, and Apfsp Nigeria. Monioluwaninuohungbogbo Osho is a Higher National Diploma holder in Catering and Hotel Management from Yaba College of Technology. She is a Mother of 2 blessed daughters, namely, Ayomiposininuoluwa Osho and Oluwadunbarin Osho. At the beginning of her career, she worked at Bagco super Sacks, in the catering department and also in Pintos Eatery on Allen Avenue, Ikeja as a supervisor of the ice cream department between 1993-1994.
In 1996, she decided to proceed on the journey of entrepreneurship by opening her first shop at the Sanjay shopping complex in Ojodu .which she named Hushpuppies and Company where a series of gift items were sold. In 1997, she started baking cakes from home. she did this with all joy and utmost pride because honestly, she was so good at it, this made her customers call her Bakers World but she refused and said “No this is HUSHPUPPIES CAKE, not baker’s world”.
In 1998, she opened an outfit called HUSHPUPPIES & COMPANY. It was created with the motive of importing various items like Christmas lights, Christmas trees, Christmas Ornaments, Flowers vases, Silk Flowers etc into the market so that decorators could have varieties in what was needed to achieve the beautification of their parties and homes currently she is still running this business. During the process of running the decoration business, she decided to go for a Balloon training course with Dunne Consodilated Nig.Ltd off Allen Avenue, Ikeja in 1999. Then in 2003, she went for a Classic Balloons Decor course in Dubai with Pallone International Balloons & Decoration.
She is a member of Qualatex Pioneer Balloon Company, Wichita, the USA to date. Monioluwa established an outdoor catering outfit in 2003 named SWEETHANDS ENTERPRISE [outdoor caterers]. She has catered for the likes of Nigerian Breweries, MTN, Airtel, British American Tobacco, Coca-Cola, IBM etc.
She extended her business in 2012 by opening 3 extra branches, a floral shop at Falomo Shopping Complex Ikoyi, also at IKOTA Shopping Complex, Vgc and another at Iponri market, Iponri”, she explained. In 2013, I went to a Floral School in Guangzhou, China In 2014, she decided to change the name of her company from Hushpuppies & Company to Hush & Hush Nig. ltd and then moved to Lekki phase1 from Ilupeju, while a new addition to her business portfolio is the HUSH&HUSH party rentals in 2015. This petite Monioluwaninuohungbogbo Osho is presently the Chairperson for the Association of Professional Food Service Providers of Nigeria (APFSPN).
