At 80, fulfilment is what comes to mind for Pastor EA Adeboye. Looking at his exemplary life, you will conclude with me that 80 is the new 60. God has been good to Pastor Adeboye and has indeed blessed him that he has become the father of many nations. On March 2nd, Pastor Adeboye turned 80 and the world at large gathered to celebrate this anointed man of God. All newspapers, websites and even TV stations, social media platforms were full of congratulatory birthday messages.
Pastor Adeboye must have felt on top of the world for the uncommon grace God has bestowed on him. Though he never looked 80 because he is looking very healthy, gracious and accomplished in the vineyard of God. He has blessed many souls through his ministry and the outpouring of love for him, for those who know him and who don’t was overwhelming last Wednesday.
Pastor Adeboye’s life is a life of service, he made serving God look so easy, No wonder his interest is always in winning many souls for Christ. As part of his birthday, an initiative of 80days soul-winning challenge took place where 8million souls are to be won in 80days, the initiative was a birthday gift to a man who has dedicated the major part of his adult life to soul winning.
Despite all the wealth that Daddy Adeboye has, very few leaders will ever have the geographical and spiritual reach of influence that pastor Adeboye has. With all of his achievements, his behaviour has remained unaffected by them. He is very revered, so respected by the high and low and would still be so genuinely humble, so self-effacing and so unfailingly respectful even of his subordinates.
No wonder, he is not one that boasts of his achievements or what he has, his humility is second to none. Why will not the world celebrate this general of God? Why will his life not be graceful at 80? Indeed, Pastor Adeboye knows how to get to the master’s heart.
So on his day, he was well-loved, well looked and some of his pictures which were carefully taken in a photoshoot session littered the whole social media space with congratulatory messages.
It will interest you to know that at 80, Pastor Adeboye’s fashion style stepped up big time. He churned out some of his new looks on his birthday and they were really cool pictures. Pastor Adeboye is not flamboyant in his dressings, NO, he is not one that prides material things more than the kingdom of God, No, You will never see him embracing vanity despite all his riches, he is one man who is always known to dress moderately but well put together.
He is known to be a lover of French coats but for his 80th birthday, pastor Adeboye changed his fashion game, he looked dapper in a 3 piece suit, blue coloured trousers with a cream shirt, a check jacket and a blue and white polka dot bow tie. He matches it all with black designer shoes. The lovely photoshoot was handled by award-winning photographer, Toyin Bello popularly called TY Bello who is the family photographer of the Adeboyes.
He was also seen in an Italian burgundy native outfit combined with a round Aso Oke cap, then another of his looks was his favourite French coats style, a tan colour suit with a white shirt and flowery tan tie. These outfits all looked so good on Daddy Adeboye. This is not the first time Pastor Adeboye will be churning out good pictures for his birthdays, he has been doing this for years. One of such was during his 75th birthday photoshoot captured by TY Bello, he was seen in best of the best outfits for his birthday. Always on time, you can’t take pastor Adeboye’s wristwatch away from him, he is a man of the time, no wonder he has them in numbers.
At 80, Pastor Adeboye never looked so close, he has aged gracefully and God has indeed kept him healthy all his life but then Who is the brain behind all these outfits? it’s no other than his children, most especially his first son, Adeolu who is a fashion designer. All of Pastor Adeboyes’s children are very stylish and well dressed, they took this after their parents. It will interest you to know that all of Daddy Adeboyes’s children are pastors.
Pastor Adeolu Adeboye is the first child and son, he is considered by numerous individuals as a man on the go. He is a top entrepreneur who runs one of the luxury fashion labels in Nigeria called Wisemen Apparel. He has clothed the high and the mighty and he can not do less than to also show the stylish and fashionable side of his Dad who is the highly reserved man of God. We gathered that Adeolu has especially been behind the outlooks of all of pastor Adeboye’s photoshoots. His clothing line deals in bespoke suits, coats, ties, jackets, shoes, belts and all. He has a great taste in fashion and this shows even in him. His wife, Tope also runs the female section of the brand known as Duchess. They are big-time celebrity clothiers.
Not only is pastor Adeolu focusing on his entrepreneurship expertise, he is also very much involved in church. Praised for several revolutionary ideas to the church, the pastor devotes his life to establishing and institutionalizing the efficiency of all The Redeemed Christian Church Of God’s (RCCG) processes and standard of operations. With a heart of service, his focus is to create a better worship experience for parishioners who attend RCCG’s headquarters, The Redemption Camp. He has implemented methods to ensure that his ministry and department, Team Nehemiah, provides an eloquent standard of security and traffic control on the grounds of the Redemption Camp. He also has a passion for the introduction of fashion to the RCCG community which can be seen through his numerous fashion stores. He is a successful entrepreneur and founder of a luxury clothing line (WISEMEN APPAREL). He is married to Mrs Tope Adeboye who runs the ladies aspect of the fashion store called Duchess and they are blessed with three sons.
