Pastor Isreal Oladele Ogundipe is the presiding Sheperd of Celestial Church of Christ Genesis Model Parish. Born 10th March into the family of Mr. & Mrs. Ogundipe from Abeokuta Ogun State. Father Deacon, Mother Deacons in a Pentecostal Church of Nigeria, but from a Muslim background, before giving his life to Christ.
This extremely brilliant man of God is a dynamic motivational speaker, mentor, role model, coach, father, singer, drummer, composer and a philanthropist. He is an author, writer, publisher of many inspirational books.
He is equally the founder of “Isreal Oladele Foundation with vision to provide for the less priveledged, orphans and destitute through basic education, healthcare and giving hope to the African children, youths, widows and the needy worldwide. His true live story will inspire, motivate and challenge you to live with hope through his struggle in life from grass to grace.
He is deep in his reflection about life. This is because he decided to pull himself up as a young man from extreme poverty and with determination and focus, he single handed built his ministry into the big church it is today, with over 5000 members and with 1st and 2nd service, and another weekly service at Agric Estate Isheri. He is a seasoned and annointed teacher of the word, and also for his undilluted and life applicable teaching and preaching of God’s words, he challenges people to succeed in every sphere of life. He tells anyone who cares to listen that having come from a humble background helped him to grow and he has also learnt a lot of hard lessons.
Pastor Isreal has really worked to achieve all he has today, but surprisingly, he is humble to a fault, and doesn’t desitate to help anybody when required. The person doesn’t necessarily need to be a church member or a close relation or friend. He sees and treat everybody equally, and this is evident in most services he conducts both at his Alakuko and Isheri branches.
He hardly conduct any service without giving. In the Thursday service, he conducted at Isheri on the 31st May, 2018, a member who has been finding it difficult to sell her plot of land, with so much disappointment from prospective buyers, after attending Pastor Isreal Church Programme, got a buyer, who even bought at a higher price. She was so happy and decided to bless the man of God with a cheque of 1 million naira.
The Pastor who believes so much in giving instructed that all the Muslims fasting in the congregation should step out, most of them confessed that they don’t even have what to eat after breaking from the fast later in the evening, Pastor Isreal didn’t only share, all the money he had in his pocket to the aged Muslims, he also instructed that the entire 1 million naira the lady brought should be used to buy provisions and food items and it should be giving to all the Muslims in the congregation, and any Christian who is interested should also take home. This is just one out of so many instances the Pastor has sowed into the lives of his congregation.
He floats a unique brand of Celestian Church. To him, change is a constant thing in life and when you know what you are doing and also what you are carrying, you will not give attention to the devil. People are not ready to break out of multitude, they just want to remain outdated mentally and what he practises is not contrary to the doctrine, it is a revelation, not a religion. The only difference is that he doesn’t go to the stream, which is usually assoicated with Celestian Churches.
