Speaking on how the organization has fared over the years, Dr. Akintunde Ayeni told City People Jamiu Abubakar why YEMKEM International remains number one in herbal business. Below are the excerpts:
“I think it’s in the hand of God. Everything that we have achieved in the Organization of YEMKEM is through the work of the Mighty God. I have been in the practice of herbal medicine for 41years ago. And that is from ‘Alafia Tayo’ being transformed into YEMKEM International. We have achieved a lot in terms of herbal medications, in terms of organic remedies, in terms of nutritional advice, in terms of so many things that can bring a succour to women’s health problems. So everything that happened is through the help of the Almighty God.
“I think we are the first Nigerian to bring a herbal product that can build the immune system to fight the COVID 19 or any kind of viral infections. In our effort to combat COVID 19 last year, YEMKEM in collaboration with Ooni of Ife, we came out with a product called Verozil. We launched the product last year for the treatment of COVID 19. The product was launched in Ife.
