I will say my love for fashion made me diversify into jewellery when I started Jewellery Affairs. I found out that I love to look good. I love fashion since I was young. I sold fabric for 22 years before venturing into jewellery in 2007. It was a case of pursuing one’s passion and I give glory to God”.
Not many people know she read Catering in school, “As a wife, I don’t miss catering at all. I may not be doing it for commercial purpose, but I cook on a daily basis for my husband”, she revealed. Chief Sade Adesoye also plays big in real estate. She is the Chairman of AZID Properties.
She hails from Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. She is the 3rd in a family of four from the Araga-Sosanya Family in Ijebu Ode. Mrs Adeshoye began her early life attending St Saviours Primary School Ijebu Ode and Ijebu Igbo Girls Grammar School, Ijebu Igbo. On completion of her secondary education, she worked at CFAO, Moloney in Obalende, Lagos & LAHAM Executive Services, a security outfit in Surulere, Lagos. She later continued her professional studies in Catering & Hotel Management where she received a Certificate from City & Guilds. On acquiring her certificate, Mrs Adesoye ventured into the business world in 1985, selling fashion merchandise.
Owing to her passion for jewellery, a few years later, she founded the renowned luxury jewellery business, known as Jewellery Affairs (a division of Farmit Ventures Nig. Ltd) and a Real Estate company called AZID Properties Nig Ltd. As MD/CEO of Jewellery Affair & Chairman of AZID Properties, Chief (Mrs.) Adesoye’s accomplishments have been highly acclaimed, earning her the prestigious titles of Iya Egbe Arobayo Akile Ijebu, Yeyeluwa of Isolo, Iya Oba of Iworo, Yeye Mesho of Epeland, & Iya Oba of Ikateland, Surulere, Lagos.
