Otunba Gbenga Daniel, two-term Ogun state governor and a strong political figure in the south-west has reflected how he took the news of the death of his late father, Pa. Abraham Daniel who passed on in 2011.
Speaking at the 17th annual thanksgiving and 10th remembrance of his late dad said he still had his late father’s phone number on his phone, hoping he would call one day and his father would pick the call.
He said,
“It’s been 10 years since my father passed away and I must admit I still find it difficult to accept that he’s gone. “In fact, I still have his number saved on my phone, hoping that I will call one day and he would pick the call. I guess I will have to finally delete the number today after service.
His impact in our lives as his children and others around him will remain memorable in our hearts.”. he said
