Unnumbered armed herdsmen have stormed five communities in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State and unleashed terror attack.
The communities attacked included Bidda, Ungwar Rogo, Kajera, Karda, Magazawa where 15 people were killed, and dozens injured.
According to one Muhammadu Alkhamis, the spokesman for the three of the communities, the attacks came in the early hours of the day.
“They came with over 60 motorcycles and each motorcycle conveyed three of their members; everybody started running helter-skelter,” he said.
Our source explained that 15 lives were wasted in the three affected villages and that the victims were male adults.
When contacted, the State Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), SP Mohammed Shehu confirmed the incident.
’“It was a reprisal from the Fulani whose people were also killed by the Yansakai at Unguwar Rogo community,” the PPRO said.
