The ancient town of Oyoland made news headlines on Monday, January 12, 2020 as Top government functionaries, A-list veteran in the entertainment industry and galaxy of royal fathers in the western Nigeria, joined the Ikubaba Yeye, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo installed the king of Fuji Music, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal as the Mayegun of Yorubaland.
The Alaafin, in his royal splendor wor played host to friends, family, associates of Kwam 1 at his historic Royal palace popularly referred to as Aafin, with royal hospitality and warm reception, for a man who has over the years impacted the music industry and mentored many Fuji musicians.
