This years’ annual City People Movie Award, a foremost star-studded event will hold next month, the 13th of October, 2019 in Lagos Nigeria.
Many Kannywood stars from the northern part of the country, who have done well in their chosen career in the last one year are warming up to storm Lagos for the prestigious event either to battle it out or support one another in the major Kannywood categories at the award.
Some of the Kannywood stars to watch out for at this years’ award include veterans who have been around for over two decades and have strived to remain relevant in the industry and many new and young stars, who seem to be in the vogue this years, and are fast becoming a big cut, no doubt, the rave of the movement.
The Kannywood stars will be celebrated in competitive categories, which include Best Kannywood Actor of the year, Best Kannywood Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Actor of the year, Most movie Director, Best Movie Producers, Best New Actor and actress, Best Actress Series on TV, Best Kannywood Film, Best kannywood Film of the year, Best Hausa Epic Film, Best Hausa Series on TV and Face of Kannywood Award.
