No fewer that 30 top Healthcare givers were honoured last Friday 25th June at the 2021 Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award (NHEA Award).
The award which was its 7th edition was held at the Jasmine Hall,inside the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites, in Victoria Island, Lagos.
NHEA Award is a high profile annual event in the Healthcare industry. It celebrates distinguished personalities and organizations that have contributed immensely to the Nigerian health sector.
The 7th edition of the classy award was massively attended by healthcare dignatories from the private and public sectors as they came to either receive award or to joined in celebrating with their colleagues who have made the sector proud over the years.
The award presentation was done in 5 different categories and deserving recipient were duly celebrated and honoured. These categories are Specialist recognition awards, Special Awards, Healthcare Delivery Services, Biomedical Technology, as well as Pharmaceuticals.
Notable among recipients of the awards are General Aderonke Kale (rtd) for Lifetime Achievement Award, Professor Dilly OC Anumba for Special Diaspora Healthcare Excellence Awards, Lagos State Government for Most Responsive COVID -19 State Government of The Year, Lagos State Commissioner for Health Professor, Akin Abayomi for Most Outstanding COVID – 19 State Health Commissioner of the Year, and a number of public and private health organizations were also honored with awards of excellence.
