The National Leader of New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP and its Presidential candidate, Sen Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has expressed deep shock over the death of the mother of his Vice Presidential candidate, Bishop Isaac Idahosa.
In a statement issued on Saturday to condole with his vice, Kwankwaso said the death of a mother is one of the saddest events in the life of any individual, saying that a mother’s place in our lives is special, and most difficult to fill.
According to him, “the greatest happiness of every mother is to see that her children are raised successfully to adulthood and become useful to society and humanity.”
The former governor said the late Mama Idahosa’s fulfilment was to leave behind, successful, responsible and God fearing children, who have impacted society and humanity in their various endeavours in life.
Sen. Kwankwaso added that the children owe it a duty to her, to keep her virtues and all she stood for when she was alive and to immortalize her according.
He said, “I deeply mourn the loss of this great mother who was the pillar and matriarch of the family and above all, she sacrificed greatly for her children to be upright and responsible in the society.
“I know what they are feeling at the moment. My family, I, and my party, (NNPP) stand with the Idahosas at this moment of grief.”
While praying to God to grant the deceased eternal rest, he also prayed to God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
