He Contested for councillor 2003 in ward H Yaba constituency under people’s Democratic party but later PDP didn’t contest the election due to creation of LCDA which Yaba fields in Rilwan Abiodun Omoregie –

Oloto is a member of a strong royal family of Olupejobi in otto of the mainland and its environs, Aromire of Lagos Island, Onitana of Lagos Island and also Oluwa of Lagos from the Faro side.
Rilwan was a media aide to Dr Seye Kehinde, the Publisher of Citypeople Magazine, and later rose to the head of corporate affairs
His background shows he belongs to one of the four most powerful landowners of Lagos State
His mother, Princess Alhaja Sidikat Abeni Sarumi – Oloto is the oldest survivor in the Oloto clan, the 87-year-old woman still mobilised community members in Apapa-Olodi, Surulere and Yaba.

His father, Isaac Ebunola Omoregie was also a big shot caller and London based businessman and was a force to reckon with in Lagos. He was one of the first to build a mansion in the heart of Lagos mainland.
Rilwan is the Social secretary and founding member of the prestigious PRC (Playmates Royale Club of Nigeria), a peer group based club that has executed various community-based projects with a year of its founding.
The most fascinating thing about Hon. Rilwan is the fact that the Otto, Olupejobi family belong to two other royal clans in Lagos; the Aromire and Onitana family.
