The classy 30th birthday giveaway, dinner and praise party hosted by Lagos Celeb hair entrepreneur, Wanneka Nkumah was huge and she practically shut down Lekki for her big day.
Few days before the party, many have been looking forward to where she will be celebrating because she is known to always throw classy parties. So, few weeks before her day, when she posted the invitation boxes, many social media blogs began to fester on the news while celebrity big babes and boys were scampering to be on the VVIP lists. It was a strictly no access card ,no entry event..
It was a birthday that made major statements as Lekki and it’s environs were agog with the preparation and hosting of the birthday gig. What made the party huge was also because ,Wanekka just opened her multi millionaire hair boutique and also launched the 30 under 30 wig store for students just two weeks before her birthday so it generated a lot of noise from different quarters.
She made some huge giveaways at the launch.
Popular presenter, Osas Ighodaro, comedian, funny bone,while the red carpet was handled by foremost red carpet guru, Denrele Edun. The invitations came with a lot of gifts inside. At the launch also, many professional vendors were on ground, grandlux hotel Lekki took charge of the foods which was buffet. Nellies food supplied the banana bread, Amala on the dot was by Ajokealamala, Guest artistes for the event were Ric Hassani, ggb crew, Secure effects limited manned the gate. Nelson Jack was the official DJ. Others are maychills and so on. She wore 3 different outfits for her day and was styled by swanky jerry.
Her outfits were from veekey james. Hip hop sensation, Teni the entertainer was also there to thrill guests. The launch was attended by many celebrities. It was a 2 in 1, the opening cum birthday sales. She has been spending a lot, millions of naira even before her 30th birthday. She gave one of her staff, a car then she gave out several iPhones to many other staffs. She also did 500k giveaway for 10 Wanneka women. She pampered herself with a car gift, the new 2020 G63 Mercedes Benz AMG in crystal black. Few days after, another massive machine, splint white Mercedes Benz GLE 350 4matic was given to her by her friend, who runs the partner brand, Tcm brand.
What do you expect from Wanneka’s party if not statements. She proved everyone right again this year by hosting 1500 of her friends and family who stormed her 30th praise party on Sunday, October 4th.
The party proper which was the praise party took place at Pearls Garden in Lekki. Every guest turned out in a lovely dress for the party. There were up to 5 gospel artistes who were contracted for the party. On the stage were Tim Godfrey, Frank Edwards, Eben, Soltune and Josh Bowale. The event was anchored by comedian acapella while DJ Nelson Jack was in charge. The event was put together by rosewood team. It is only Wanneka that loves to show her uniqueness by doing her things differently.
It was such a memorable event as Wanneka glowed in 10 different outfits which suited her so much. She was styled by award-winning stylist, medlinboss. Her outfits were by veekey James, Suemanuel, janbyjan, houseofnini, official photographer was photo freak, hair styling by Yinka signature while her make up was handled by maq Jose. Her next point of call was another party that she held for her Abuja clients and friends. It was also a big party where she gave out many giveaways and gifts.
Wanneka’s story will be interesting for anyone who admires her entrepreneurial skills. This impressive woman has managed to become a multimillionaire and one of the richest hair sellers in Nigeria at a young age. She runs all her own company which includes a restaurant. She is a gorgeous fashion buff and entrepreneur who hails from the eastern part of the country. Popularly called hair boss, she is the CEO of Wanneka hair. She is beautifully married with 3 kids.
