All roads led to Swiss International the Vistana Victoria Garden City, Lekki on Saturday 10th, April, 2021, for 70th birthday of popular celeb and successful business woman, Mrs. Afishetu Esther Afegbua. Indeed, all the big babes and guys gathered together to celebrate a woman of substance who doesn’t look anything close to 70 years. She can easily pass for sweet 20.
The party was compered by two outstanding comedians and MC, Sandra Okputa popularly known as Sandy Baby and Desmond Ogherubrorhie a.k.a. Destalker. Trust me with these two brilliant comedians, there was no single dull moment.
Great band was at the bandstand dishing out sweet melodies, while DJ Moonlight was the official DJ at the party.
The ever dependable and reliable Shantiz world dished out food, from local to international dishes and well prepared small chops. What about her cocktail? Everything was on point.
The venue was well decorated in black, gold and touch of white.
Temmie Bakes was in charge of cakes, and Mama’s Cake was another side attraction at the party. It was well designed and eye-catching.
The beautiful woman of substance was ushered into the venue of the party by her grandchildren, who all looked beautiful in the same Ankara outfits.
Mama’s beautiful children Onyemefolu, Becky Bintu Afegbua, Mujaidu Atuegwu, Aishatu Ovuede Angel wore the same well designed stoned green aso-oke, and they did everything together. The siblings are closely knitted and this is evident in the way they did things.
The official colour of the party was green and guests looked beautiful in different green outfits.
Mama was not left out, as she glowed and looked gorgous in a well designed green lace.
Guests had so much to eat and drink.
It was indeed a very colourful and fun-filled event.
THE BEAUTIFUL VENUE
The beautiful venue of Madam Esther’s 70th birthday was at Swiss International the Vistana VGC Lekki, Lagos.
The venue was beautifully designed in gold, black and a touch of white. The well designed venue showed class and high taste of the celebrant. Everything was on point.
GUESTS SHINE IN ALL SHADES OF GREEN
The 70th birthday was witnessed by the creme-de-la-creme of Lagos. And the guests all looked gorgeous in all shades of green, since it was official colour of the party with a beautiful green gele to compliment their outfits.
SANDY BABY & DESTALKER AS THE MASTER OF CEREMONY
The master of ceremony of every party matters a lot. They often determine the tune of the party.
The combination of Sandra Okputa popularly called Sandy Baby and Desmond Oghene Brorhie a.k.a. Destalker were indeed a perfect combination at the event. There was no single dull moment with the duo.
They carried everybody along and cracked all the guests up big time.
DJ MOONLIGHT WAS THE OFFICIAL DJ AT THE PARTY
The pretty and amiable DJ Moonlight was the official DJ at the party. Dishing out nice selected tunes to the listening pleasure of the guests. There was no single dull moment with her. She left guests begging for more.
GREAT BAND WAS AT THE BANDSTAND
They sure came well prepared wearing the same green ankara for the party and entertained the guests to the fullest. They made the party very interesting and fun-filled and left guests dancing and enjoying the party to the fullest.
SHANTIZ WORLD TOOK CHARGE OF FOOD AND COCKTAIL
The pretty Oluwaseun Momoh is the CEO of Shantiz World and Shantiz Catering, one of the outstanding and successful catering outfits in Lagos. She took charge of food, small chops and cocktail at the party, and everything was on point. All guests were also served more than they could ever ask for, they were all properly served, and there was so much to eat and drink.
Mama’s children provided everything in essence for guests and made sure nobody lacked anything on their table.
TEMMIE BAKES TOOK CHARGE OF CAKE
Mama’s beautiful cake was another side attraction at the party. Her cake was beautifully baked and designed by Temitope Ali Balogun the CEO of Temmie Bakes one of the very best in Lagos State. The cake was designed in green and gold and many couldn’t take their eyes off the well designed cake, which had steps and different branches.
OLOORI BUKOLA OJOOLA STOOD OUT
Many that are familiar with Oloori Bukola Ojoola, knows she is one queen that always like to stand out at every events. Her taste and fashion sense is exceptional. She sure looked gorgeous and outstanding at the party.
MEET THE CELEBRANT
Mrs. Afishetu Esther Afegbua is the complete definition of ageless beauty. She is blessed beyond measure. Though 70 years, but can pass for a 25 years old lady. Mrs. Esther Afegbua is the wife of late Prince Alhaji Musa Afegbua, of the Afegbua Royal family. She is blessed with 5 children and 12 grand children. She is indeed a fulfilled mother who has sacrificed a lot for her children in life, and presently reaping the fruits of her labour. She has a very close relationship with her children and her grand children. Her joy new no bounds to see the turn out of guests who came to celebrate with her on her special day.
MAMA WAS USHERED IN SPECIALLY BY HER GRAND CHILDREN
The ageless and beautiful Mama was ushered into the hall by her grand children who all wore the same outfit and her children too. She couldn’t on her joy, as she danced endlessly, looking so happy before she was ushered to take her special seat on the high table in company of her grand children.
MAMA’S FIRST GRAND SON & DAUGHTER’s SPECIAL MESSAGE TO HER
Mama’s first grand son Colins and first grand daughter described Mama as a very sweet and exceptional grand mother, whose love for her grand children is so much. They also appreciate her for all she has been doing and how she has been taking care of them despite being their grandmother which she doesn’t look any way. And they ended their speech with prayers for Mama’s long life in health and wealth.
MAMA’S CHILDREN ALL LOOKED SO GORGEOUS
Mama’s children wore the same outfit, a well stoned designed green aso-oke with gele and fila respectively at the event. They were all up on their feet to take care of their guests, making sure everybody was well taken care off.
Mama’s first daughter, Becky Bintu and her sisters were indeed the perfect hosts. They kept going from one table to another to see that all guests were satisfied. She was indeed the life of the party. Her sisters were also not left out, they all stood by each other and did things together and everything turned out well.
ANIKE ANIMASHAUN & FRIENDS ALSO STOOD OUT
The beautiful CEO of House of TL. Anike Animashaun who maintains a very cordial relationship with Mama’s daughters came in with her beautiful friends, amongst them is the movie actress, Peggy Ovire and they all looked gorgeous in their different outfits.
Anike was equally on her feet through the party assisting Mama’s daughters, and also making sure guests were properly taken care of.
