•Becomes Otunba Mayegun Of ESURE Kingdom
Dr. Wasiu Abiodun Aguda is a big real estate player in Lagos. The big news is that he has just been made the Otunba Mayegun of Esure Kingdom. He is a Consummate Estate Developer & business mogul. Dr. Aguda graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University (formerly Ogun State University) in 1991 with a B.Sc degree in Economics.
He began his working career in 1992 with Akinwale Stanley & Co. (a firm of Estate Surveyors and Valuers) in Lagos. While there, he brokered several mega deals. His brilliant performance saw to his meteoric rise to the post of Senior Consultant-(Properties) in 1994. He later proceeded to the University of Lagos for his post-graduate studies where he obtained his Masters Degree in Marketing in 1995. Upon graduation from the University of Lagos, Dr. Aguda joined All State Finance and Investment Company Limited as Marketing Manager and also worked with Amicable Insurance Plc. in same capacity. He later resigned to establish a property consultancy firm under the name Femab Global Ventures.
In September 2019, Dr. Aguda bagged the Honorary Doctorate degree in Marketing and Negotiate at the Estam University in Republic of Benin. He has, over the years, initiated series of private sector initiatives in estate development.
Some of these project include: (1) Development of Diamond Estate, Sangotedo, Lagos State. (2)Development Peninsula Garden Estate, beside /Lagos Business School, Ajah, Lagos State. (3) Development of Platinum Gate Estate, behind National Stadium, Alaka, Surulere, Lagos State. (4) Development of Crestview Estate, Ikorudu, Lagos State. (5) Development of Institute of Public Administration and Management Campus, University of Sierra Leone, Bureh Town, Freetown, Sierra Leone (This is a development of fully residential university for the government of Sierra Leone).
Dr. Aguda is a resourceful and experienced Property expert whose Midas touch and impressive performance led to the transformation of Femab Global Ventures to Femab Properties Limited. Below are few of the expansion strides he has achieved with Femab Properties Limited: (1) Founder, Hongyang Dredging & Seaport Construction Company Limited, Oriental FEMAB Mining Company Limited, Shelter First Associate Company Limited and Baylyx Global Concepts Limited with respective vision of being world leading Companies.
(2) Establishment of FEMAB Management Services; Dubai, UAE. His numerous Contributions to estate development in Nigeria, has earned him and the company several awards within a short period among which are: (1) Lagos Housing Fair Award For Excellence. (2) Pillar of. National Development (Gold Award) by Today’s People International Magazine. (3) Patriotic Achievers Award by Franc Nolly Incorporation. (4) Property and Environmental Writers Association of
Nigeria.
He is a vibrant and professional leader with a distinctive and progressive career within diverse business atmosphere. He is a member of the following professional bodies: (1) Nigeria Institute of Directors. (2) Nigerian German Chamber of Commerce. (3) Real Estate Developer Association of Nigeria (REDAN). (4) Global Member, British School of Project Management Professional CBPP-PMp, United Kingdom. (5) Fellow of the Institute of Chartered administrators and researchers of Nigeria.
He is an alumnus at Lagos Business School (now Pan African University) OMP-Ownered Manager Program). He loves traveling, reading and playing tennis. Dr. Aguda is happily married with wonderful children. He was also honoured with a Doctor of Science Award: CONFERMENT: In consideration of the impressive achievements of DR. ABIODON AGUDA; his uncommon success as well as his contributions to the growth and development of Property Industry, as well as his landmark achievements and impact in Marketing and Entrepreneurship that have positively impacted the Socio-Economic Development of the Nation and to lives in general, the Senate of European American University therefore applauds him and conferred on him, the award of Doctor of Science (D.
