Lagos state opens resettlement camp, for victims of building collapse

As part off effort of the Lagos state government in providing succour to the collapsed victims of collapsed and demolished building in the Lagos island, the state Government has reiterated its readiness to accommodate the affected individuals at the state relive and resettlement center at Igando

Speaking at a resent tour of the resettlement facility at the weekend, the commissioner of information and strategy,Mr Kehinde bamigbetan, stated that the state Governor, Governor Ambode has giving approval for the affected families of both the demolished and collapsed building to make use of the facility based on International best practices.

To this end, the commissioner stated that the relief center has accommodated close to 500 displace person as of Tuesday 26 of March.

He further went on to state that the process was the state Government trying to mitigated the effect of the losses on the victims.
