#LagosDecides: INEC Ad-hoc Staff Refuse To Work In Ikorodu

INEC ad-hoc staff posted to Ikorodu Igbogbo 24/12/10 RAC have refused to turn up at their polling units to conduct election, a source has revealed.

According to the source, a sum of N5, 000 was distributed to them on Saturday morning which purpose is unknown, but the youth corps members refused to accept it claiming their other colleagues in other places received N10, 000.

The source who pleaded anonymity said “in my RAC, we have more than 18 polling units.

“We are at the polling units without corpers who are meant to be our presiding officer. We are starting now without them.”

Elections have commenced in the said polling units as voters have already turned out to cast their votes.
