Laide Lanre-Badmus makes list of top 100 inspirational Nigerian Women

The above quote by popular American actress, author, and media mogul, Oprah Winfrey, briefly describes the success story of Ms Laide Lanre-Badmus, Founder of a non-governmental organization, Laide Lanre-Badmus (LLB) Foundation Africa.

This is as the lifestyle consultant and an interior deco expert, has been listed among Enterprising Women Awards Africa’s Top 100 inspirational Nigerian Women.

According to the organizers, the honour is a platform designed to reward, inspire, encourage and celebrate African women.

Laide was selected through nominations from the public, achievements and contributions to society, goodwill and inspirational works.

The Top 100 Women project, whose 100-day countdown started on November 1st, 2023, is geared towards the International Women’s Day of March 8, 2024.

It will be featured in a 100-page compendium which comes in a UV-printed box, with specially crafted plexiglass themed in Black and Gold, and will be placed at 7 Government institutions including the National Museum, the National Library, the University of Lagos, the Obafemi Awolowo University, the University of Nigeria, the Ahmadu Bello University, and the University of Ibadan.

Other institutions are the African Union Library, the ECOWAS Library, and also the Transcorp Hotels, Abuja according to the organizers.

Laide’s success didn’t happen overnight, it’s what she has built over the years by dint of hard work and sacrifices.

Born on the 10th of July 1981, Laide holds a Diploma in Law, and an LLB in Law with a BSc in Politics and International Relations.

She is a lifestyle consultant, the Founder and Principal Partner of Purifoy Seven Drops on Ten Ltd, and Laide Lanre Badmus (LLB) Nig Limited, a firm that provides custom-made interior designs offering exquisite interior decorations, curates premium bespoke, corporate and personalized gift hampers in trunk boxes and some other VIP accessories.

Her NGO is leading the charge against the inhuman treatment of “the love child”, and kids’ sexual abuse and harassment.

Laide is a fellow at the Institute of Personality Development & Customer Relationship Management IPD-CRM, a member, Nigeria Institute of Management, a Fellow of the Women Leadership Network, and a Member Nigeria Women Convener’s Movement (NWC).

Laide is an astute politician and humanitarian who hopes to serve Oyo State very soon. She is a passionate humanitarian with an NGO that specializes in building emotional stability in emotionally broken children with childhood dysfunctions.
