On arrival of the Agency’s response team to the scene, a fallen 40 ft containerised truck with an unknown registration number was found on the road.
Information gathered revealed the truck driver veered off the road while trying to avoid a collision with another truck that was driving against traffic. No casualties were however recorded at the scene.
LRT, Lastma and NPF were all responders at the scene.
The containerised truck has been successfully recovered off the road with the Agency’s forklift.
The recovery operation concluded. Traffic flow has been restored.
