Right now in Lagos, one event centre that is smiling to the bank is The Monarch Event Centre. It is unarguably the hit centre right now for celebrity parties. Situated in Lekki, along the Lekki-Epe expressway, it has become the most used hall, weekend in, weekend out for celebrity parties.

For 2021, the royal daughters were the first to launch the venue, Teni and Demide Elegushi had their Waleemat at the centre followed by Kabiyesi Oba Saheed Elegushi’s 45th birthday and 11 years on the throne in April. In November, the CEO of The Monarch, Olori Sekinat Elegushi held her grand 45th birthday, Funke Akindele’s wedding anniversary photoshoot, The Baloguns and so many.
To use all the entire space at The Monarch, you will have to pay a 17million naira, For each space, there are different charges for usage. The Rooftop which is an open-air space sits about 120-150 guests (banquet setting) and comes at a 1.5 million naira cost. The Deluxe is a space separately which costs 2.3 million naira to use and sits about 200 guests in a banquet setting. The Throne-room is the main hall of the monarch event centre. It sits more than 1500 guests, but with Covid compliant, they allow 800 to 1000 guests depending on your event type, size and sitting arrangements. This is offered at 7million naira. The Throne-room mini is offered at 4.3 Million Naira and sits about 350- 400 persons, comes with two (2) changing rooms and two (2) indoor service points. The Cathedral is the blessing/vow area for civil ceremonies and costs 1.5m to use.
The Noble Room space costs 12Million naira and is suitable for intimate/ mini-events with up to 50-70 guests.
The monarch hall comes with a large car park area, luxury chairs, banquet tables, serving areas, vendor tables/chairs, truss for hanging, changing rooms, sound systems, photo areas and a peaceful ambience.
Also, the centre is fully fitted with industrial A.Cs, picturesque restrooms and security personnel to ensure the safety of lives and properties. With all this, the centre remains one of the finest and most used centres in Lekki.
