Talks About The Recent AGN Summit

Moji Oyetayo organised The Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter’s ‘Capacity-Building  Seminar’ on the 16th of October, 2019, at the hugely popular City People Event Hall, Gbagada, Lagos. Moji, who is the current Mama Ajasco in the legendary Wale Adenuga Comedy Production, is the first ever female Chairman of Lagos State arm of AGN. And the Seminar  was geared towards showcasing and networking of new talents in entertainment.

As a testament to the  solidarity of established and successful Stars’ support for the initiative,  Guest Speakers graced the event. Speakers include  top Actor and Politician, Hon. Desmond Elliot, Veteran Actor  Keppy Ekpeyong, Lead Actress and higly talented Monalisa Linda as well as the extremely versatile and top actress Gloria Anozie-Young. There was a lot of mentoring and networking and many Attendees expressed optimism and hope on, their chosen Showbiz career. City People’s TITILOPE OSHUNLALU spoke with Moji Oyetayo who shed more light on the event and her vision for AGN, Lagos Chapter.  Excerpts.

What’s your take on the Seminar.               

I am happy I was able to give back to the Guild members through this summit. The Veterans who were the facilitators imparted knowledge ,motivated, educated and shared experiences with the members.

What more could be done.    

There is always room for more and I intend to do this quaterly

What’s your opinion on Nigerian entertainment?

Nigerian entertainment has grown and we are just starting. It is a big revenue generation industry we have.

Kindly shed more light on your career.                

As the first female Chairman of the Lagos Chapter  of AGN,my plate is full of so many activities and programmes. I will keep unfolding them. This Seminar is just one out of a hundreds. As for my career, as an Actor  I am very well on track and will keep featuring in movies and producing movies.

What has entertainment done for you?.   

It has given me a platform to showcase my talents.

I am fun loving, down to earth, extremely hard working, and a goal getter.

If not in entertainment, what else would you be?.                       

 TV  News Broadcaster. What keeps you going?.          

My faith in God.
