Who is Mrs. Wasilat Oyetunde Agoro?

I am a Civil Servant, an Accountant. I work with Lagos State government, I have NCE in Accounting Education and B.Ed in Accounting Education from Ogun State University, I am also a chartered Accountant, I am married to Hon. Barr. Tajudeen Jaiyeola Agoro and we are blessed with 3 children. We have 2 lawyers andand one accountant. We have been married for over 30 years.

With your husband’s busy schedule, how have you been able to copy?

I have been copying by the grace of God. My children are grown when my husband became the president of Eko Club. Infact, we have a grand son now. I am an Introvert, while my husband is an extrovert, so, we have been able to blend things over the years, because of the kind of person I am.

What were the challenges you face, as the wife of the president of a club?

I can say, I have not really faced any challenge. The only challenge is him, coming home late, but, he has never slept outside, and his reasons for coming home late, are because, of issues in the club, which he has always been able to settle and I am happy. He was able to make an impact in the club. All glory to Allah. I am so grateful to Godthat , in the next 16 days, when he will be handing over to a new president, I will have all the time to enjoy my husband again (laugh).

How was the planning of the wife’s day party, what was your contribution?

I have been looking up to this party. I have been disturbing my husband to, at least, give us (wives of members one day to celebrate, I made him understand that when the men are busy in the club, we, the wives are the ones taking care of the home, so, we need to be celebrated, the last time we had wife’s party, was 5 years ago. Since my husband became the president, we have never had the wives’ party, until today, so, I am really excited today.
