All is set for the Olabodes to hold a grand burial ceremony in honour of their late mother, Madam Victoria Adewonuola Olabode (Nee Lasekan).
The event, slated for 26 and 27 August, 2021, respectively, promises to be colourful and a glamorous one. Thursday 26, Christian Wake holds at 71, Isolo Street, Ikare Road (beside Zoka Place), Owo, Ondo State. While Funeral Service takes place on Friday 27, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pentecost Mega Parish, Provincial Headquarters, Folahan Ale Street, Off Okedogbon Street, Owo.
Reception and entertainment of guests follows at Aruwajoye Event Centre, Iyare Road, Owo. It’s going to be a mega celebration of a life well spent of Mama Victoria Olabode.
‘Obele’, as Mama was fondly called, has been described by many as a woman of substance, a good mother and a role model in her lifetime, not only to her biological children but also several others.
She was survived by wonderful children and grandchildren. Her children are all successful in their various chosen fields.
