Two months ago, singer Maleek Berry released “Gimme Life” — the first track from his Sounds Of The Sun summer series.
Now, he’s given fans a vibrant music video for the hit song.
Produced by Maleek Berry himself, “Gimme Life” clearly borrows musical leaves from a song he really loves, one of 2017’s biggest hits, MUT4Y and Wizkid’s “Manya.
The result of this ‘borrowing’ is a track that is just as catchy.
The theme for “Gimme Life” follows the lines of another of Maleek Berrry’s hit tracks, “Kontrol”.
This means the singer is crooning about a nice ass. “You gimme love, you gimme life/When you start to bust a whine”, he sings on the catchy chorus.
For the Ladi directed music video, which Maleek Berry released as a gift to his fans, ‘Gimmie Life’ gets a bright carnival-themed gathering, that involves a lot of dancing.
