Malnourished baby dumped on waste heap in Lagos

A baby was discovered at a dump site at Costain Bus-stop, along Apapa Road in Ebute Meta, Lagos State yesterday morning. Though traders say the baby was dumped very early as those that resumed trading around 7:00am couldn’t find traces of the person that dumped the child.

One thing was very visible; the baby looked malnourished and was still breathing that morning. But by the time it was evening, the baby gave up the ghost as no help came.

Onlookers kept raining curses on the mother and wondered why she couldn’t have gone to drop her at an orphanage home
