A religious socio-political evangelist, Chris Omashola, has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media platforms after he called Naira Marley, Nigerian musician, a “demon”.
The pastor had taken to his Twitter page on Tuesday to share a series of prophecies concerning Nigeria, including his acclaimed revelation from God that Marley “is satanic and should repent before it’s too late.”
He added that the singer’s songs are demonically inspired to destroy the destiny of the youths.
“In 2020, God told me, Naira Marley is A Demon, He is Satanic and should repent before it’s too late. His songs are demonically inspired to destroy the Destiny of The Youths of this generation, Nigerian youths should desist from calling themselves Marlians,” he wrote.
The post attracted the attention of the street singer who retweeted the user’s opinion.
