On Wednesday 28th July 2021 the old students association sets 81-83 of Maryland Comprehensive secondary school Ikeja delivered on one of its alumni goals , corporate social responsibility by handing over 240 desks, chairs, lockers to Mende senior high school.
In addition, the school s staff room, physics as well as Home Economics labs were refurbished.
The Association led by its current President lander Titi Fabamwo ,the Exco, Project Committee chaired by the association s Vice President lander Harry Davies and the members were on hand to deliver it’s promise to the assist the school in needed areas .
The Commissioner for Education Lagos State Mrs Folasade Adefisayo received the furniture on behalf of the Lagos State Government.
Present at the ceremony was Reverend Fadairo representing three Archbishop of Lagos, the President of the Maryland Comprehensive secondary school Central alumni association, Principal, staff and students of Mende senior high school as well as other invited guests .
The MCSSOSA sets 81-82 according to its President emphasized that the alumni association decided to extend a hand of fellowship n assistance to the schools and areas within the environment of its alma Mata as a charitable gesture.
The entire project to the tune of 12 million Naira: A goal the association attained to the glory of God
