These great women of substance are doing exceptionally well in their different endeavours. Their success story has remain a source of inspiration to many younger ladies in the society. Some started their brand from nothing, today they have become an household name and many love to patronise them because of the integrity they have built in the business sector.

These very hardworking sisters have excelled where many have failed and despite being in the same kind of business, they have worked tiredlessly together, without no form of envy and competition amongst them.

Besides being successful, they are also highly respected in the society. They roll with the high and mighty in the society.

We are talking about people like the the Sogunro sisters.

Mrs. Joke Sogunro and Kafilat Sogunro. The highly respected Mrs. Joke Sogunro is the CEO of Soggys Couture on Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere, Lagos and Abuja.

She is an extremely hardworking business woman and a top class member of Nigeria’s high society. She is highly successful in her business and well connected. Her sister Kafilat Sogunro is also into same business with her.

These two sisters needs no form of introduction when it comes to the Lagos social scene. They run one of the biggest boutique in Lagos and also make it a point of duty to always stock up to the best designs from all over the world. This explains why A-list celebrities enjoys shopping from Soggy’s Couture. Mrs. Joke Sogunro’s philanthropist’s nature is something that also stands her out amongst others in the society.

What about Morufat Kalejaiye and Hajia Sukurat Kalejaiye. Morufat Kalejaiye is a billionaire business woman, a popular Lagos Textile Merchant and the owner of Morkals Fabrics with many branches in Lagos Island and Lekki area of Lagos State. These two sisters are both into same business. They command lots of respects amongst the fabric merhant in Lagos. Besides running successful business, they are also bless with good looks and good dress sense which often stands them out at any events.

There is also Amoke Oge and her two sisters who controls the Amala business in Lagos State. These three extremely hardworking sisters Amoke Odukoya popularly known as Amoke Oge, Alhaja Saudi Alamala and Ashabi Alamala are no doubt household names. Alhaja Saudi Alamala is very famous in New Garage and Ikorodu, Ashabi Alamala is also popular in Ikorodu and Aladelola while Amoke Oge who happens to be their younger sister is currently running 7 different Amala joints in Lagos with branches in Shomolu, the head office, Surulere, Obalende, Pedro, Oshodi and others. These sisters are currently dominating the local food business in Lagos and they also no slowing down in opening more branches. They are all into indoor and outdoor catering.

It is a business they learnt from their mother and through hardwork and determination, they have made huge success out of it.

The Isong sisters are not left out of this list, talking about Emem Isong and her sister Uduak Isong. These two are among the big names controlling the movie industry. They have both discovered lots of big names we celebrate today in the movie industry through their movie productions.

Uduak Isong Oguamanam is a scriptwriter, producer and entrepreneur based in Lagos. She is widely recognised for her comedy movie titled “Okon Lagos” and its sequel “Okon Goes To School”, Lost In London, and Desperate Housegirl. She is the CEO of Closer Pictures, a production company based in Lagos. She ventured into acting professionally when she acted in her first movie “Falling” a movie produced under Closer Pictures through Royal Arts Academy, Lagos owned by her sister, Emem Isong Misodi.

She is very creative and highly talented and she is also very good at interpreting roles perfectly in movies. She has equally starrred in movies, which includes Okon Lagos, Lost In London, and Desperate Housegirl, Kiss And Tell, Kokoma amongst so many others. Many movie stars today can’t tell  their success story without mentioning Uduak Isong.

Her elder sister, Emem Isong is an award winning filmmaker, screen writer and CEO of Royal Arts Academy.

Her career in filmmaking started when she wrote and co-produced the movie Jezebel in 1994. In 1996, she produced and funded her first movie “Breaking Point”. In 2008, she co-produced the movie “Reloaded With Desmond Elliot”.

She established the Royal Art Academy in 2010, an academy created to empower the Nigerian Youth. The academy teaches the talented youths how to act, write scripts and edit movies. Aside from the youth empowerment Royal Arts Academy also produces, distributes and markets Nollywood movies and it has produced several award winning movies such as Guilty Pleasure, Bursting Out, Kiss And Tell, Lagos Cougars, and a host of others.

Emem Isong is known to have discovered several ace actors and actresses in the movie industry. She also pioneered the production of Ibibio speaking movies such as Ekaette, Uyai, Edikan and many others.

These pretty and young sisters Ayomide and Omehi run Ayora, a clothing brand in Lagos, they provide ready-to-wear pieces for women using traditional fabric one unique and outstanding about their brand is they seek out simplicity in their business. They started their brand out of their passion for looking simple and good, they have been able to make success out of it, and also become an inspiration to younger ladies in the society.
