The tall, physically built and well-endowed Abel Egbarin is a native of Agbor Local Government of Delta State; he, attended Army Children School, Sagamu, then Sonyindo Community High School; and later Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye.
The founder, The Obimzy Foundation, and Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Obimzy Properties and Obimzy Records was born years back on November 8, and naturally lived his early life in Remo, Sagamu, Ogun State of South West region of Nigeria.
He has an endearing personality, within and without, even as he has a good domestic, family life and a business entrepreneur of many facets.
The Aare Borokini of Sonyindo veered into the music world as a percussionist under the leadership of famous Gospel musician, late Evangelist Roland Olubukola Olomola, popularly known back in the days as Baba Ara. Of course, he grew up in the Celestial fold, and this was where he took the interest to build up his musical interest, and Baba Ara came in handy for him to build up his verve for music.
Through his Obimzy Records label, Abel has had a good working and cordial relationship with many prominent artistes like Oritsefemi, Terry G, NairaMarley, Reminisce, Zlatan, Olamide, Small Doctor, Qdot, 9ice, and many more too numerous to mention.
The hallmark of Abel’s knack for music entrepreneurship and business acumen is his ability to identify and hone up the innate talents of upcoming acts; he has also gone into real estate, with the name Obimzy Properties, which is now his new venture for over four years now and is thriving, with flourishing properties in upscale Lekki, Ajah, Lagos Island, and even in Queen’s land, London and its environs, with many more countries in mind.
He is no doubt one individual with an impeccable character, a thorough gentleman, who takes his family as a priority in every decision, albeit being compassionate and very sympathetic.
