•What You Don’t Know About The 17 Commissioners
Apart from the fact that Engr. Seyi Makinde has hit the ground running as the executive governor of Oyo State, he is moving very fast towards achieving his main goal which is ‘to make a difference’. And in order to make a difference what he has been able to do was to first of all look into how he got into power, to learn where his predecessor has failed. He has therefore promised to run a government of inclusion. Having understood that it was many forces that came together to form an alliance that defeated the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state. That is also more reason the likes of Ex-Gov Rashidi Ladoja, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, Senator Monsurat Sunmonnu and co are involved in the present administration in Oyo State.
Aside from that, Gov. Seyi Makinde can’t also afford to jeopardize his chances and integrity he has built over the years, as a highly meticulous engineer.
That explains why he had to shop for the best hands to work with as his cabinet members. People of integrity, who are ready to work, sacrifice in serving the state and its people. In this report, City People’s Correspondent, Dare Adeniran presents to you list of the honourable Commissioners running the pacesetter state with Governor Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde. They are all tested technocrats who are doing wonderfully well for themselves in their various chosen fields before they were called to come and serve. Read on.
