It’s official! No, not the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo was the best player of 2016. We knew that already when he topped the Goal 50 poll. What’s now official is the fact he is dating model Georgina Rodriguez.
The pair were reportedly spotted on a number of occasions previously, with the Real Madrid star even allegedly in disguise as they visited Disneyland Paris together, but now their romance has been made public.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez attended the Best FIFA Football Awards together in Zurich, accompanied by his son Cristiano Jr, and looked very much at ease as they posed for photographs on the green carpet before the ceremony.
Rodriguez is a former employee of the Madrid Gucci store, and it was through this that the 21-year-old first came into contact with the Portugal international. The pair met at a Dolce & Gabbana event last year, before first being spotted out together in Paris in November.
She was then a guest of the forward’s at a number of Real Madrid games, including their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.
The Spainish model studied dance before changing career to modelling after studying English in London. When she returned home from England, she moved to Madrid instead of returning to her hometown of Jaca – a winter resort north of the capital.
Now that their relationship is public, we’re sure to see plenty more of Rodriguez in 2017!
