Meet The Giwas & Iyalodes Of Regberegbe Groups

•Who Took Part At OJUDE OBA In IJEBU ODE

At the just concluded 2022 Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu-Ode, 60 Regberegbe (Age Grade) groups took an active interest in the celebration. Each of age grade groups has its own leader. Whilst the Male each has a Giwa (President), the Female groups also have a President each called Iyalode. Below City People reveals the list of these Giwas & Iyalodes, who are members of the Ijebu Regberegbe Council, headed by Giwa M.A. Odutayo of Egbe Olugbadebo who is the President of The Regberegbe Council.

Giwa Oluneye Okuboyejo is one of the most respected Ijebu elders. He is the Giwa of Egbe Mafowoku Ijebu. There is also Giwa Dhikrullah Bosun Oke of Egbe Bobayo. He is the Vice President of the Regberegbe Council. Giwa M.A. Oragba, who belongs to Egbe Bobagbuyi is the Secretary of the Regberegbe Council, while Iyalode Korede Alatishe of Egbe Bobagunte Omo Oba is the Treasurer of the Regberegbe Council.
