The just concluded Orimolusi Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu Igbo was a huge success. It was a job well and meticulously done. The success story won’t be complete without giving kudos to the organisers and brains behind the event. They did well in getting the right personalities to chair the occasion.
The choice of the highly celebrated and well-respected Otunba Femi Dinah as the Chairman of the occasion and the chairperson in the elegant-looking Hajia Aminat Shola Fowosire was commendable. They gave the event deserving attention and support. Worthy of accolades for putting Ijebu Igbo’s joint Ojude Oba festival back on track the entire executives and members of the Ijebu Igbo Regberegbe-in-Council.
They are the brains behind the maiden edition of the Orimolusi Ojude Oba Festival. The council is led by the result-oriented Otun Ganiyu Babatunde as the chairman while members of the council’s executive are Prince Olasunkanmi Lawal, the General Secretary; Alhaja Yetunde Afolake Fowosire, the Social Secretary; Mr Oyediran Sakibu, the Treasurer; Mrs Idowu Okusola, Financial Secretary; Lase Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Adediran, PRO; Alhaji SKB Amoda, member and Alhaji Olatoye Yinusa, Member.
Representing their respective age-grade groups, other members of the high-powered council are Hon. Onalaja Adeike Adesola, Jide Ogunyemi, Gbenga Adeyemi, Prince Olasunkanmi Lawal, Adesanya Arowolo, Sonuga Olawale, Alhaji Aliyu Adesina, Bajulaye Taiwo Okeowo, Gbenga Balogun, Quadri Abiodun, Babatunde Adeniyi, Gbade FolashadeMuritala, Balogun Rasheed, Abosede Senkale, Pekun Inakoju, Abodun Oshikoya, Asimi Abiola, Bolanle Adesina Sonuga, Hon. Bola Shonubi, Oshilaja Ganiyu, Otunba Ayodele Onadeko, Talabi Adekunle Babatunde, Fatimoh Omobolanle Bello, Alhaji Olatoye Yinusa, Abiodun Oshikoya, OLabode Adepitan, Mayegun Bola Onapitan, Elder John Sosanya, Hon. Jayesimi, Otunba Ayodele Onadeko, Adebayo Adegboyega, Odunayo Sheu, and Talabi Zacchaeus not leaving out the Giwa of Egbe Bobagunte Itesiwaju Okunrin ati Obinrin.
