If you talk about young female entrepreneurs in Abuja, the names of these vibrant, and successful ladies must be on the list. They are doing well in their various lines of business. Some of them are married. And they still manage their home front well in such a way as not to negatively affect their businesses, some are still single while majority of them are planning to tie the nuptial knot pretty soon. In this report, City People’s Abuja Correspondent, ADEBOLA OLORUNYOMI, reveals the names of some of these Abuja female entrepreneurs making waves in their various businesses.
CHRISTY BUSACCA
Christy Busacca is the C.E.O of Christy Busacca Image and Brand Consulting Limited. She has a chain of businesses such as a world class spa called Fabio’s Beauty Spa in Abuja. She also successfully runs a top-notch restaurant, Renos, known for its wide range of Italian/Nigerian cuisines and its exquisite decor. The whole brand concept is designed and implemented by Christy herself. This pretty lady is a University of Abuja graduate. She studied Economics. She later proceeded to the United Kingdom where she got certified as a Professional Stylist.
RAHAMA INDIMI
Yakolo Foundation is owned by the radiant daughter of Borno born oil magnate and owner of Oriental Energy, Alhaji Mohammed Indimi. She was once married to Mohammed Babangida, son of the former military President, Ibrahim Babangida.
Rahama is a graduate of Lynn University, Boca Raton, Florida, where she studied Pre-medical sciences. Since then, she has overseen delivery of humanitarian assistance, health services and training people adversely affected by Boko Haram insurgency in the IDP (internally displaced persons) Camps. Apart from selling different brands of shoes, she has her brand that people feel very comfortable in. Yvonne owns one of the biggest shops in Blue World Plaza, Aminu Kano, Abuja. Ojoma Sule is one of the super big babes rocking both the business and social circuits in Abuja. She’s highly influential and she’s in hot romance with Abba Abacha. Ojoma is known to possess a very large heart. No wonder, she established Posharella Life Foundation. She started it owing to the passion and desire to help people, aid the development and empowerment of communities and also provide healthcare service for people living with disabilities to improve livelihood, eradicating poverty improving on education reducing rate of mother and infant mortality. Ogwa is a top designer, rocking the fashion industry, in Abuja. Her fashion label DZYN was founded in 2003 by Ogwa with just 5 dresses. Although, she started with her sister, Ofure, they later got separated and she went solo starting her own business. Ogwa has designs & has produce-thousands of garments annually. All stages of production from design, sketching to tailoring and quality control are done in-house by their dedicated teams. She ensured the highest quality on every individual garment. Ogwa also does it to both her ready- to-wear clothes and made for order products. She believes in integrating styles of different cultures to come up with essentially Nigerian fashion. She’s also a big time entrepreneur doing well in Abuja.
OFURE ADUVE
Ofure Aduve is the younger sister of Ogwa, the brain behind DZYN Fashion Label. The 2 lovable sisters started the fashion label together, until a few years ago when Ofure decided to lay her hands on another line of business. She started supplies of fresh berries, grapes and other fruits to individuals and big super markets, in Abuja and Federal Capital Territory as a whole. Ofure is a very gentle and pleasant lady, and she’s also doing great in her fruits business.

This list of Abuja female entrepreneurs will be incomplete without the name of a beautiful lady. Hyeladzira. She owns one of the biggest event marquees in Abuja. She is the wonderful lady behind Blue Velvet Event place. This nice and pleasant lady is also one of the Abuja big babes who are making waves, but hardly in the news.

When you meet this slim and petite lady for the 1st time. You will think is just a girl next door. Meanwhile, she has been an entrepreneur for years. Lily is the brain behind Ketchup Hang out, on Aminu Kano Crescent, in Wuse2. She also owns Lilly’s Concept, one of the top event planning companies in Abuja.
