TOLULOPE OLUSHOLA LAMIDI is one of the pretty TV presenters at TVC with a bias for the Arts. She is a lover of the Arts and has been a part of the scene since 2008 when she started a show on Art and art events called Theatrips, which is today know n as Art Express. She studied Theatre arts at the University of Ibadan. She has certificates in cinematography and television production.
Tolu has received several Awards over the years including Best Entertainment Journalist (UK) at the 2011 African Film Awards; Promising On Air Personality of the year 2009 (by TVC) and Media Excellence award 2012 by NANTAP Lagos chapter. She has been a part of several Stage and TV productions with the likes of Wale Adenuga, Tajudeen Adepetu and Tade Ogidan. Tolu loves the stage and performance and has been part of several plays and productions such as “speaking back” – a dance drama by Chukwuma Okoye; “Morontodun”, “Women of Owu” and “Restless run of the locust” all by Femi Osiofisan; “Langbodo” by Wale Ogunyemi and many others.
Tolu is currently a Producer and Presenter at Television Continental (TVC) of Continental kiddies show and”Art express” (as producer and presenter). She is an ever energetic and creative person who likes taking on challenges and learning new things and new ways to adapt to her environment in order to achieve her goals.
