Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta (formerly Facebook), has undergone surgery after suffering a knee injury during training for an upcoming mixed martial arts competition.
Zuckerberg suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which he shared in an Instagram post on Friday. In his post, he updated fans that he is on the road to recovery and expressed gratitude to the doctors and team caring for him.
Zuckerberg was preparing for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now it has been delayed due to his injury. Nevertheless, he still looks forward to participating in the fight after he has fully recovered.
Zuckerberg thanked everyone for their love and support.
