•Where You Can Get Your Dream Home @ Unbelievable Rates
Have you heard of the new Real Estate company making waves in Lagos presently? The company is called Metro & Castle. Though the outfit is relatively young in the industry, it has taken the Real Estate sector by storm with the opening of its maiden project – the absolutely breathtaking Metro Homes Estate.
At the recent open house unveiling of Metro Homes Estate held Sunday, June 9th, 2019, Real estate practitioners top officers from the banking and Oil & Gas sectors, young and upwardly mobile businessmen and women and invited guests were all held spellbound by the sheer magnificence of the Metro Homes Estate located within the Lekki-Ajah axis inside Atlantic Nominee Lay Out on Lekki Gardens Phase 1V Road. You couldn’t but be blown away by the fabulous exterior look of the buildings.
The estate flaunts an ambience that appears to have been taken straight out of a foreign Home journal. The intricately designed wooden doors and cute looking window fittings will also certainly blow your mind. But what would perhaps leave you totally speechless is the incredibly affordable rates the homes are sold for. Each semi-detached apartment is sold for between 35 to 36 million naira! Unbelievable, did you say? This is the same kind of property that is sold for close to 45 million naira by other real estate companies in the same locality. That’s not all.
With as little as 30% minimum down payment, (with mortgage facilities) you are eligible to move into your dream home as soon as you’re ready and the remaining payment will be spread over 18-24 months. Owned by the Managing Director, Mr. Adekunle Abdul, a very dynamic and business savvy young man, and supported by his wife, Marita, who is one of the Iconic Quincy Ayodele’s smart and adorable daughters, Metro and Castle was registered and established in 2014 ‘to deliver affordable housing to Nigerians with very limited stress.’ The MD explained that he firmly believes that ‘everybody deserves a roof over their heads and so, the company’s coming up with all kinds of model to ensure that, that takes place.’ He revealed that the Metro and Castle has delivered up to 18 projects across Lekki Peninsular.
The idea to create Metro Homes came up about two years ago and today, it’s been a resounding success. Its completely sold out right now. According to Mr. Abdul, Metro and Castle will be embarking on the next estate which is going to be much bigger, about twice the size of Metro Homes and people are already subscribing as there is a spillover from subscribers who missed getting a property in Metro Homes Estate. Another great feature about Metro Homes is that all the components used in the building and finishing of the structures are of top-notch quality. It also boasts of high-end facilities at a very cheap cost. There is 24 hours power supply, a swimming pool, a gym, children’s playground and maximum security. And wait for this, most of the things used in Metro Homes were done by Metro and Castle – they produce their own blocks, fabricate their windows, manufacture their doors, including the external bulletproof doors, and several other components except of course the cement they use. They procure their cement from outside. That’s one thing they can’t produce themselves. This arrangement helps in terms of ensuring quality control and driving down cost, which is why they have been able to sell for 36 million. This is basically the vision of Metro & Castle-to provide housing to Nigerians at the most affordable rates possible.
For Metro and Castle, the whole idea is to drive the cost as low as it possibly can to enable them sell the final product at the most affordable rates imaginable. And it has worked like magic. For the open house unveiling, they contracted an interior decorator who put the furniture in place and designed the kitchen and bedroom as well. The idea is to enable people see how well they can manage the space the apartments offer and of course highlight the aesthetic beauty of the homes. The company is hoping to deliver a minimum of 200 units of housing within the next few years and if we have seen of Metro Homes is anything to go by, then Lagosians are.
