Following the success of his last single Corporate, Mikel releases Song for Africa in solidarity to the incident of slavery in Libya. In his official statement he frowned against the inhumane acts of the perpetuators. “I can’t change the world but I can change the people of the world and their perspective towards things with the music I do. It’s not just about slavery now, we all need to show love and make somebody smile too. You don’t have to have everything before you can give, No you don’t, all you need is to have a heart, a big one, a golden one and an open one, this is my Song for Africa” –Mikel
