CLAM the fastest growing church, situated at Omole Lagos clocked 20. The Senior Pastor of the Church, Pastor Wole Oladiyun also clocked 59. It was double celebration for the members of the church, as well as the family & friends of Oladiyun as they gathered on Easter Monday to celebrate the faithfulness of God in the life of the prayer Virtuoso, Pastor Wole Oladiyun.In accordance with the normal worship service time of the church, the Thanksgiving service started at exactly 8:00am with a prayer led by one of the Ministers of the Church.
It went on for 30 minutes before the choir led the Praise and Worship that lasted for another 30minutes. Many people came out to testify to the goodness of God in the life of the Pastor and how the church that was established 20 years ago as impacted on their lives tremendously.
Among them was the Proprietress of Dansol International School, Mrs. Adun Akinyemi, who narrated how CLAM started 20 years ago and how Pastor Wole and his wife have been a blessing to she and her family. In her words. “I’m standing here on behalf of my sister and my brother, the Oladiyuns and on behalf of CLAM to say Lord we thank you, Lord we appreciate you, we give you praise and glory, for its been you this 20 years.
Job: 8vs7, though your beginning here small, you latter shall surely be great. What we are seeing and what the Lord is using our father in the Lord to do all over the world is by God and God alone, but I want to say a little about the beginning.” “When there is a vision, there must be a backing, and he would always tell you when you have a vision share it with people that will support you, and not distract you. He was always sharing his vision with his wife, and he also shared it with me when Dansol as Triple Cross is now at Plot 533 beside IICA, Acme road, and someone was using the place at a time and he said where do I go?
He started with a small group and they had what we called burden removing prayer, and the prayer still continues till today, I bless the Lord that one of my staff then said to me a few years ago that “I thought your brother was mad”. It has like madness, they would pray for like 4 hours continuously, whatever we see in CLAM today is as a result of intercession, madness prayer, just praying continuously, that is what we see here and it has given birth to this, God kept him and he has been consistent, they are consistent people, I want to thank God for their consistency in the place of Intercession, and the pattern his not changed. I want to also thank God that he has made provision, another thing I want to thank God in their life for, they’ve been together when they were young and now, they are still going higher.
I also want to thank God that they are givers, they give like mad people, pray like mad people, give like mad people and that is why God is enlarging their coast, whatever we see today its been God, I just want to thank God for your lives, I want to thank God for CLAM, and I want to thank God for the Greater height that is taking you to, I want to say happy birthday to you and I know that, the God that you serve and you are proclaiming will continue, to uphold you, it is well with you”.
The second person was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Church, Pastor Akinbo Dania, who also gave thanks to God for CLAM on behalf of the Setman and his wife and laid emphasis on how he became a member of CLAM many years ago, “Just to summarize my testimony, Nigeria had a bad election in 1993, and from there I started having problem, because I worked for the man that was involved in the problem before he finally died,
I’ve always been an apostolic person with C.A.C background, and at that time I prayed some certain prayers that wasn’t answered and I got angry that I won’t go to church again and I stayed in my house, my wife reported the matter to a friend of hers who happens to be a redeemer and that one say: “Daddy don’t worry, I’m taking you to a church and the person that said he’s taking me to a church took me to a classroom, somewhere along ACME road, I was actually coming from a church that had atleast 3,000 member at every worship, and I said to her why don’t you take me to your church, atleast I know your church is bigger than my church, why did you bring me to a classroom, she said you stay there and later I saw a man coming and she said that is the Pastor,
I was just watching but what he did 30mins later revolutionized my world, and I knew within me that I am back in C.A.C now. So I decided to stay but what amazed me most was that I thought this is a Pastor that will say Bless you all and go his way, he has time for everybody.
The humility was beyond my imagination, I didn’t know the wife, but about 2 weeks later I met the wife, and I saw another person who is so humble to a fault, you can imagine a wife of the G.O behaving like a maid to everybody and that was how we started. Day in day out I would go to their house, they would welcome me as if I’m a big man. I spoke to him about how politic has sent me out of employment, then I was working for Concord, He prayed for me and I left for Anifowose to see my brother, on getting there somebody called my brother and asked of me lo and behold the man gave me Job right there, immediately, I did not just get employment, everything picked up, even the company did not want me to go.
Pastor Wole is a man of God that will make you pray and pray until there is a result. When we moved here, the prayer doubled, praying from 10pm-5am in our Vigils. People of God, what you are seeing today is the miracle of God, I’m proud to be a member of CLAM” One other testimony that is very significant is the testimony of Pastor Seyi Oladimeji, a Church Management Consultant, who revealed his experience with Pastor Wole Oladiyun and his encounter the first day he stepped his foot on CLAM. His Words: “I want to bless the name of God for the birth of Pastor Wole Oladiyun, I want to thank God for the womb that carried him, and the rich background the Lord gave him in Apostolic church, and I want to thank God for the day I met him.
God is a wonderful God, I believe when God wants to do something big, He always starts small. Today we are celebrating 20 years of CLAM the vision God gave him. I met him when they were in Dansol High School, but what I want to testify to today is the gift of God in the life of Pastor Wole Oladiyun, the day he brought me here; it was like a place leading to nowhere.
This auditorium was half roofed, and the floor was cracked, because the properties has been abandoned for years, it’s like a bush path, and I was like “Do you want to end your Ministry, are you sure this is where God asked you to come” he said Yes. Infact I had to believe because I don’t want to infect him with my own doubts. We joined hands and we prayed, beloved, if you have been in CLAM 10 years back, you would have seen the transformation around here, its only God that can do that. I learnt a great lesson from that.
At times, God hide your answer in things that doesn’t look like it, so that nobody will take it before you get there, there are so many things that I have seen from Pastor Wole Oladiyun. I have seen consistence, brand dedication, I see him as somebody God raised to rekindle the fire of Revival that was going down not only in CLAM but all over the world” After all the testimonies, followed thereafter is the renditions from the choir, before the Covenant brother of Pastor Wole Oladiyun, Pastor Dele Johnson, the Senior Pastor of Jesus Liberation Ministry was invited for the exhortation and to pray for the church and the celebrant. Pastor Dele Johnson added to the wonderful testimonies during his preaching.
He talked about 20 years of God’s faithfulness, 20 years of power, 20 years of the backing of the almighty, 20 years of backing His word with miracles, signs and wonders, 20 years of tenacity and integrity. “On behalf of my family and the entire JLM family, we want to congratulate Pastor Wole Oladiyun and Pastor Mrs. Bukola Oladiyun, the Entire Pastorate of CLAM, the entire CLAM family worldwide, all the friends and well wishers of this great assignments on this occasion of twenty years anniversary of CLAM, we say, congratulations.
Also on behalf of the entire congregation we want to wish Baba Aladura, Happy Birthday Longlife, Prosperity, Greater Vision, Greater Flight, Greater Achievement, Greater exploit in the mighty name of Jesus”Pastor Dele Johnson in his preaching on the significance of the numbers stated that 20 is a very unique number as it means seasons of open hand, open palm which means resources shall come to CLAM without restrictions, delay and barriers and encouraged everyone to be part of it by running with the vision, because the vision is plain and legible enough. After his preaching that lasted for about 1 hour, Pastor Dele Johnson prayed for the celebrant and his wife, Church and the entire congregation before the Thanksgiving started.
After the thanksgiving, Pastor Wole Oladiyun mounted the pulpit. Pastor Wole Oladiyun, apologized for the extra time spent and requested for 10min just to appreciate God and the entire congregation for the love shown to him and his family over the years. In his word.
“I want to give thanks to the Lord for what he has done for us on this mountain. I have to thank the almighty God, for creating me as a human being, I want thank the Lord for making my parents to know the Lord very early in life. When being born again was not popular, I want to thank the Lord for enabling my father to be in C.A.C at early age, he was a prayer leader for Western Zone of C.A.C in the 50s and 60s, and to the glory of God, we are enjoying the result.
I bless the Lord for my native C.A.C church, once a C.A.C person you will be a C.A.C forever, because that is my foundation, to God be all the Glory and adoration, for bringing me forth and my siblings. I want to Thank the Lord for choosing a very dutiful wife for me, for the wonderful children and grand children he has given into us and our son in-laws, I want to thank the Lord for all the servant of the Lord on the altar, all the pastors, ministers and disciples in CLAM and the workforce including my family members, elders, men, women and all the youth for all the Lord has done, to him be all the Glory and Adoration. I pray for everyone of you that the Lord will reward you in the name of Jesus.
I’m so excited for God keeping me alive till now, today I’m 59 years old, and God is keeping me strong. There was a prediction when I was younger than this that my enemy will not live up to 28 years. When that prophesy came, my mother took me to C.A.C Oke Isegun our Church and we prayed to cancel that prophecy. I remember that day I was asked to read the whole book of Psalm.
I read the whole Psalm and after that the Lord said “It is because of what I want to do which will be hidden from people, those who have seen this in hell, they wanted to cut the agenda short, the Lord said I’m going to do it with my white hairs, He said the prophecy is cancelled till your old age go and work for me, and by that no human being can kill you, until the time comes when I went to take you home in your old age, I have exceeded 28, and by next year if the coming of the Lord tarries I will be 60 year to God be all the Glory.Pastor Wole Oladiyun prayed for the church against untimely death and thereafter, he declared that he has forgiven those who had offended him since the very first day of the mission till some hours ago and the meeting was brought to a close.
AT THE GET TOGETHER PARTY
The second segment of the anniversary which is the get together party to honour and celebrate the 59th birthday of Pastor Wole Oladiyun kick started with opening prayer, and light music followed to welcome the guests. Pastor Richie Unubum is the MC of the day as he welcomed the guests one after the other before the arrival of the celebrant and his wife, flanked by Dr. D.K. Olukoya who everybody knows as his spiritual father. As a matter of fact, CLAM members always refer to Dr. D.K Olukoya as grandfather of CLAM, because of the love that exists between the two families, right from the time Pastor Wole was serving under him over 20 years ago and the bond is still there. Dr. D.K. Olukoya who came for the event through the leading of the Holy Spirit according to him, enjoined all the Ministers and the entire CLAM staff to pray for Oladiyun’s family. It was time for the celebrant to cut his cake as Mrs. Dania was invited to conduct the cutting. Soon, pictures were taken and the event was brought to a close.
