Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun had a remarkable 50th birthday celebration two weekends back and the lavish party spanned over 4 days. The grand finale which held on Friday July 7th, 2017, paraded over 200 Nollywood stars who all came out to celebrate with one of their own. The 4-day event kicked off on July 4th with the celebrant’s visit to the accident victims at the University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, and later delivered a public lecture at the Theatre Arts Department of the Institution. The day two tagged “an evening with Saheed Balogun was a black tie dinner held at Ibadan. The third day, Saidi visited the Remand Home and Nigerian Prison while the grand finale which shook the whole of Lagos to its root took place on Friday July 7th at the spacious Grandeur Event Centre in Oregun. SAIDI SET TO HIT CINEMA ON AUG. 4TH

As you are reading this, the birthday boy is set to debut his new movie tittle “DPO of Banana Island come August 4th, 2017. A giant banner of the new movie which has Saidi Balogun clad in Policeman uniform was on the red carpet for the entire guest to see. The ticket for the movies is said to be selling out fast as Saidi Balogun is known for producing movies which fit into the recent happening around us.

 

PARTY SUPPORTED BY CADBURY, PEUGEOT, & OTHERS

The many giant conglomerates were very visibly at Saidi Balogun’s 50th birthday. Most of them had banners at the red carpet and also sent their executives to represent them at the party.  Among the many company that supported the event were Cadbury, Glo, Peugeot, Bedmate Funiture, Rites, Bigi, LIRS, Bethola, Jumrash to mention few. Cadbury Bonita hot drink were also served to the guests freely.

 

ASO-EBI BY JUMRASH

Over 100 celebrities who stormed the party were dressed on white Aso-Ebi lace for the event. The 35 thousand naira white net lace aso-ebi was supplied by popular Lagos society woman, Alhaja Fatimo Azeez Igbira. The pretty babe who runs one of the biggest cloth stores in Lagos called “JUMRASH” was the one who handled the aso-oke. The white lace for women goes with a white and gold aso-oke headgear which was worn by over 1000 guests. The men wore a white autra polish lace while some also settled for attiku lace. The ever smiling Jumrash was cynosure of all eyes with her darling husband, Azeez Igbira and her clique of friends. Among those sighted with her for the night was Orisun TV Wife, Mrs. Kwameh to mention few.

 

MARIAM APOBEPORE BECOMES ANTP UP

Well endowed actress, Mariam Apobepere who became popular after appering in Bayowa films back in the days is now the Vice President of ANTP. This she revelled to City People Magazine at Said Balogun 50th birthday party. She said she became the Vice President early this year. She chatted freely with Segun Ogungbe’s new wife, Wunmi Ajiboye.

SAIDI BALOGUN’S KIDS STEPPED OUT

Saidi Balogun’s two children Zeenat (female) and Jameel (male) were all out to celebrates with their father as he danced his way to 50. They were all clad in white attire as they danced out with their father at the reception.

 

THE GRAND ENTRY OF SAIDI BALOGUN

At few minutes past 6pm, Saidi Balogun arrived the venue, clad in a white aso-oke matched with a yellow traditional “abetiaja. He danced into the hall in the beautiful and well designed aso-oke made by Jumrash aso-oke. Saheed who looked calm was joined at the entrance by many A-list stars who danced in with him. He was later joined by many Nollywood stars for the cutting of cake.

IBADAN SOCIALITE RANTI KOIKI MADE A FASHION STATEMNET

Popular Ibadan socialite, Raiti Koiki made a wow fashion statement at the event. As usual, her signature headgear looked perfect with her well cut skirt and blouse. She came with her friends. Among them were Bukola Kadiri, Nike Taiwo, Adunola Taiwo and Bunmi Fanulua.

 

PRINCESS TOYIN KOLADE COULDN’T MAKE THE EVENT

One society woman who perhaps was missed at the event is no other than, Mrs. Toyin Kolade, the CEO of Fisolak Group of Companies. This maritime top shot that is very close to Saidi Balogun supported him but she couldn’t be at the event and this is because she has to be at Former Nigeria Minister, Chief Borisade’s burial in Ekiti.  Though she was at the night with Saidi Balogun at Ibadan but coulnt make the grand finale in Lagos.This philanthropist made sure she sent her delegates also to the party. The celebrator who wrote on his instagram handle few days ago to wish Princess Toyin Kolade happy birthday appreciated her for supporting his 50th birthday. “HBD Princess Toyin Kolade, thanks for making my 50th birthday a memorable one. Our wonderful and outstanding princess keep smiling to success”.

 

OYO SPEAKER LED IBADAN LAWMAKERS

The speaker of Oyo State Rtd. Hon. Michael Adeyemo Adeyemi was the one who led many Oyo State House of Assemblies Members to the event. They were all present to represent the Executive Governor of Oyo State. Among others sighted were Hon Kehinde Hassan, Hon. Bolaji Badmus, Hon FATAI Adeshina, Hon. Ademola Ige to mention few.  So also Lagos Speaker, Hon. Segun Olulade of Lagos.

 

POPULAR LAGOS HOTELIER, HAJIA RAMATU LAWAL LED SOCIETY WOMEN

Popular Lagos hotelier, Hajia Ramatu Lawal, the CEO of Executive Spot, Ikoyi was all out for Saidi Balogun. She sat beside Lagos fabric merchant, Atinuke Lodge. Other society women sighted at the event were Alhaja Sunbo Edueke, SP Dolapo Badmus), Alhaja Tawa Edueke, Alhaja Sariyu Jolade Balogun, Alhaja Adeyinka LWI, Princess Deola Fadeyi, Alhaja Folasade Odunla, Hon Abolore Balogun, Alhaja Folasade Arowolo, Toyin Olowolagba, Omolola Aromasodun, Dolapo Orisajobi, Bukola Adesoye, Funmi Adebaki, Mrs Bimpe Balogun, Mrs Bolanle Adeyemo, Mrs Gifty Ideh, Mrs Funmi Adebaki, Justina Okoromadu, Bukola Adesoye, Betty Lawson, Maryam Rasheed CEO of Stay pretty with Aduke among many others.

Give it to Saidi Balogun. Virtually all the movie star in both the English and Yoruba sector stormed his 50th birthday. Among those sighted were, Omotola Jalade, Patrick Doyle, Muyiwa Ademola,  Femi Adebayo, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe , Doris Simon, KEMI Afolabi, Baba Latin, Sotayo, Kamilu Compo, Bimbo Akinsanya, Yinka Alabi, Bidemi Kosoko, Samson Okotiti, Lepa SHaddy, Segun Ogungbe, Kayode Akindina, Baba super, Akeem Alabutu, Omobanke, Wazo, Harijan, Baba Tee, Biodun Okeowo, Sunkami Omobolale, Funsho Adeolu, Fala, Odunfa Causus , Opebe, Ojoge, Nike Peller, Funmilayo Ajibade,  Sharon and many others many movie marketer was also all out to support her.

 

ALARA & JIMOH IBRAHIM WERE ROYAL FATHERS

The Alara of Ilara Kingdom was one of the royal fathers of Saidibalogunat50. He was an early caller and he was later joined by veteran Nollywood star and Movie Legend, Chief Jimoh Ibrahim fondly called Aworo.

 

K1 SERENADES GUESTS

Fuji Czar, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal was the one on bandstand dishing out good music to the admiration of all. He was an early caller as he came in few minutes even before the event kicked off. He chatted freely with his best friend, Chief Akin Fijabi, the Ibadan socialite of great repute.  K1 got many guests on their feet for hours before the event ended late in the night.
