NPFL: Sunshine Stars Unveil Eguavoen, Shorunmu As Coaches

Former Nigeria international and Super Eagles coach Austin Eguavoen has been unveiled as the new head coach of NPFL side Sunshine Stars.
The Akure-based team alongside Eguavoen also appointed former super eagles goalkeeper and coach, Ike Shorunmu as their new goalkeeper coach.
Both Eguavoen and Shorunmu have their work cut out for them as Sunshine Stars currently languish in the 18th position on the league table.

While Shorunmu played at the France1998 World cup and missed the Korea/Japan edition in 2002, Eguavoen was the vice-captain of the team that won the Tunisia 1998 African Cup of nations and the USA 1994 World cup where the Super Eagles of Nigeria pulled a pleasant surprise.
