Ogun 2019: I see power changing hands in March – OGD

Two term governor and national leader of Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has assured Ogun people that the internal crisis rocking the party structure will strengthen the party before the elections in March,

He stated this at the 14th Thanksgiving Anniversary held at his Shagamu home on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Speaking to newsmen on the turn out, he said.:

“We are happy this is the 14 annual Thanksgiving and it is getting better by the year, and because this is an election year you can see the turn-up, everybody coming to praise God, to also pray for Grace to emerge in their various endeavours. We thank God, and we also pray that next year we’ll come back and be sure that we can present as many governors, we can present the president by the grace of God.

He also addressed the internal crisis rocking the party and the candidates jostling for the same position. When asked about the internal rancour within the PDP in the state he said, “you can see what happened here today, PDP 1, PDP 2, PDP 3, ADC, even some APC members are here. “It tells you stories and I’m sure you can evaluate it. I want to believe within the next few weeks, I see some things happening and so we’ve seen some signals”.
