Olubadan paid historic visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

The media aide to the Olubadan, Adeola Oloko, said in an interview with journalists that the visit was historic because no Ibadan monarch had visited the Ooni in over 50 years.

The Olubadan led some high-ranking Ibadan chiefs to pay the historic visit.

Apart from the wives of the Olubadan, Kudirat and Rashidat, the Balogun of Ibadan, Chief Akinloye Olakuleyin; the Ekerin Olubadan, Chief Biodun Daisi; and the Agbaakin of Ibadan, Chief Lekan Alabi, were among the chiefs on the entourage of the Olubadan to the palace of the Ooni.
