Oluwo of Iwo holds Prayer session for President Muhammed Buhari

A prayer session for President Muhammed Buhari organized by HRM Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi Oluwo of Iwo, on Thursday, August 24, 2017, was a successful one as religious leaders from both Islam, Christianity and traditional religions all prayed fervently for the president’s recovery from his illness. You may ask why now that the president is black. It’s just been coincident because the prayer as been fixed for today 24th of August since before his arrival.

The stylish Oba Oluwo also prayed from the throne in both Islamic and traditional ways. He also enjoins all and sundry to prayer against a reoccurrence of such or any ailments to the president so he can continue his good job so he can rule us for the second term. He believed that the president has been renewed and fortified Health wise with the prayers. Today 24th of August has been set aside in Iwo land as the leadership day which will be celebrated with prayers yearly.

The yearly prayer will be held for our leaders irrespective of political parties. Oyo State SSG Lekan Alabi’s wife who represented the office of the First Lady Hajia Aisha Buhari also prayed and commend the royal father for his commitments to his fatherland. Lagos State speaker was ably represented by Hon. Tunde Buraimo and his counterpart from Lagos State House of Assembly.
