In a heartwarming display of sibling unity and family love, Bunmi-Olayinka, Abimbola, Funmilayo, Mosebolatan, and their brother Akindeji Ibitayo gathered to celebrate a significant milestone: their mother’s 70th birthday.
The joyous occasion, held in Lagos, showcased the remarkable bond among the siblings; a rare and beautiful change that many families aspire to attain. Their togetherness honoured their mother’s life and accomplishments and served as an inspiring reminder of the strength found in family connections.
The Ibitayo family pulled out all the stops to honour their beloved matriarch, Mrs. Elizabeth Folashade Ibitayo, on her 70th birthday.  The grand celebration, tagged “Celebration of the Senior Mother in Israel,” drew a glittering array of family, friends, and well-wishers who came together to honour a woman described as a pillar of strength and a beacon of love. This heartwarming event, held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the prestigious CITN Hall in Ikeja, Lagos, was a beautiful blend of joy, elegance, and heartfelt tributes.
Mrs. Folashade’s illustrious son, Akindeji Ibitayo, Chairman of Ostrich Entertainment, left no stone unturned in giving his mother a befitting 70th birthday bash. In his remarks, he expressed deep gratitude to his mother for her sacrifices, love, and unwavering support throughout the years.
Akindeji ensured that guests were treated to an unforgettable experience, from uplifting musical performances to heartfelt speeches that paid glowing tributes to the celebrant’s remarkable life. Highlights of the evening included a moving slideshow of Mrs Ibitayo’s life journey and the symbolic cutting of a towering birthday cake that brought tears of joy to her eyes.
