For those who think the founder and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, only expresses his philanthropic side by giving out monetary gifts and cars on his birthday, February 14 alone, will definitely have a rethink after reading this. Many will still recall that only a few months ago, February 14th to be precise, which actually is the respected man of God’s birthday, he held his annual thanksgiving celebration during which he handed out scholarships to financially constrained but focused young students, about four Keke Marwa to deserving members of the church, monetary gifts to the less privileged, the aged and the widows, school fees over 200k handed out to more than 10 journalists, health care support and car gifts to a musician and two deserving journalists. This unprecedented generosity was all over the news months ago when the event took place. It was not the first time Primate Ayodele will be putting smiles on the faces of people in that manner, but this year’s edition made bigger headlines because it paraded more mouth watering gifts than ever before. And now, only a couple of months after, Primate Ayodele has put smiles on the faces many individuals again!
Just like he did last time, Primate Ayodele has again empowered members of his church, spent millions of naira supporting those who couldn’t cope with the burden of high cost of education in the country and ensuring they continue with their education and also gave out an SUV car to a church member and also to a musician. The lucky musician is the popular gospel singer, Evangelist Bunmi Akinnanu Adeoye, who celebrated her birthday on the 1st of August this month. It was on her birthday that the renowned man of God who is known for his ground breaking prophecies chose to celebrate her and honour the talented lady he calls his daughter with a car gift. As one would expect, the beautiful gospel singer who sang the hit song, ‘Omije Oju mi,’ was overjoyed when she was handed her car keys and was led to where the car was parked outside the church auditorium. The event took place at the grand finale of the church’s ‘God will not put me to shame’ 7th anniversary.
Towards the tail end of the programme, I requested to speak with the ever confident man of God. He obliged and I promptly took him on the Osun election. I reminded him that he was the very first prophet to say that Oyetola would not win the election, why then did he change his earlier prophecy and came out with another one declaring that Oyetola will win?
The always calm and collected man of God regarded as the most fearless and most consistent prophet in the land smiled and then explained. Hear him in his words: “I owe nobody any apologies, without a doubt, I have a strong interest in Oyetola. What I did was a make a prophetic declaration on Osun and not a prophesy like many have been insinuating. My first prophesy in which I said he was not going to win the election except he did the needful stands. The other prophecy I made is a prophetic declaration out of my love and interest in Oyetola. I have a personal likeness for the man and feel attached to him. I will never change what I said because he lost that election, I will never do that. I won’t make any attempt to twist what I said. I spoke to God and said, God, let this man win this election even though, from my earlier prophecy, what I saw showed that it was going to be difficult for him to win. That was a prophetic declaration. There is a big difference between a prophetic declaration and prophecy. Anyone can go online and check my prophecy at the early part of the year, what I said regarding the Osun election is written clearly in black and white. People need to understand the difference between the prophetic declaration and prophesy. There is no doubt that my heart was with Oyetola because I love him, but I knew that the prophecy did not favour him. I wanted God to change the prophecy but the Lord chose to stand on what he said earlier and there is nothing anybody can do to change that. The fact that he did not win does not mean I will change what I said or twist what God said. I knew exactly what God said, I only wanted him to change it that was why I made that declaration.”
Many will recall that, during the release of his 2022 prophecies as far back as Wednesday, 22nd Of December, 2021, Primate Ayodele’s statement on the Osun state election was even more elaborate and it talked majorly on how Governor Oyetola will struggle to have a second term in office. The man of God categorically stated that Oyetola will not have it easy if he doesn’t unite all the members of the Osun political family. He warned him of evil perpetrators that will frustrate his second term ambition. Primate Ayodele also further stated that there will be protest against Oyetola’s government and if he doesn’t put his house in order, he will not record victory in the election. And this exactly what happened. There was massive chaos and disunity within the Osun APC and Oyetola could not resolve the crisis before the election, hence his defeat at the polls.
Hear him: ‘’OSUN STATE: The spirit of God says governor Oyetola must unite all members of the Osun State House of Assembly as well as the party members (including those who do not like him). He must work assiduously because there will be a lot of evil perpetrators that will want to frustrate his effort in order for him not to win the second term. All the Who is who should be reconciled in the Osun State APC.’’
‘’ I foresee that many of his party members will want to gang up against him. Oyetola must not allow the party members to decamp and also not allow his party to break. He needs prayers to avert negativity and do the needful. They will bring negative reports about the governor. He must pray very hard so that he will succeed.”
Also, looking at the latest edition of his annual prophecy book titled Warnings To The Nations (Pg 43) which was released last Saturday, Primate Ayodele categorically stated that people will work to bring down the Governor in the election.
Again, looking at the 2021/2022 edition of Warnings To The Nations (Pg 64), Primate Ayodele wrote that the people will bombard the governor with scandals and that the APC will need to work very well on its candidate if they want to a second term in office. Indeed, all manner of allegations were levied against the governor by party members and in the end they failed to work for the party’s success at the polls. So, clearly, what Primate Ayodele was trying to do was to change his earlier prophecy by asking God to turn the prophecy around and let it favour Governor Oyetola whom he said he loves dearly. But God was not willing to do his bidding, hence the shocking result of the election.
