Popular veteran actor, Kayode Odumosu a.k.a. Pa Kasumu has opened up on the true cause of his sickness, saying it is a spiritual attack not an ailment that could be treated by conventional medicine.
The highly celebrated actor was looking so sick beyond recognition at the Para Africa Gala Night for veterans event organised by Foluke Daramola.
According to the interview he granted recently, he said all he needs to get back to his feet is prayers and not even financial aid from anybody.
“For now, I don’t need any help, all I need is prayers. All I can say about my sickness is that it is spiritual, that is why I said it requires prayers. God should take care of me”.
Recalled the whole health issue started in 2008, when he visited his family doctor for a checkup after he noticed some strange feelings inside him. Lots of tests were conducted and it was discovered that his heart, kidney and liver were not functioning properly.
And since 2009, he has been undergoing major cardio treatment in LUTH three times a week, and it costs as high as 150,000.00 naira. He sold all he had to get treatment in Cairo Egypt.
His health issue has made him stay away from the movie industry for 10 years and he also revealed that this was the first time, he would seek spiritual help.
