The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Ganiu Adams has stated his plight against the State government and the Federal government about the disbursement of Palliatives to Nigerians.
He made this know while speaking with the Publisher of City People in a Live Chat on Instagram on Friday, May 1, 2020.
Speaking on the COVID–19 lock-down vis-a-vis palliative disbursements to the people, he stated that the Federal Government failed the country for distributing more palliative to the northern region than the south. He also added that he was not considered as the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland as the custodian of Yoruba people, so I can ensure that my people are evenly sorted.
” The Federal Government failed the nation while they were disbursing the palliatives. Even the minister of Humanitarian Affairs claimed that there are no poor people in the southern part of Nigeria compared to the North.”.
“You can also hear Lagos State saying they cannot afford to cater for 1000 COVID-19 patients?.. You can imagine a State that make tens of billions every month.”, He said,
