(1) Tell the people to live by FAITH and not by fear. 2 Tim. 1 v 7
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
(2) God will shake the heavens and the Earth. He will shake the nations. He will shake Government of many countries. He will shake the economy of the Nations. But the Lord will be the hope of his people and their strength-
Joel 3 v 16: “The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.”
Isaiah 13 v 11: “The Lord says, “I will bring disaster on the earth and punish all wicked people for their sins. I will humble everyone who is proud and punish everyone who is arrogant and cruel. Those who survive will be scarcer than gold. I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place on that day when I, the Lord Almighty, show my anger.” (GNB)
“I, the Lord, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the mighty”. (NLT)
(3) Many nations will witness youth uprising beginning from the second quarter of the year. It will be terrific leading to serial changes in Government.
·Psalm 8 v 2 “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.”
(4) Tell the Church of God to be prepared for God’s visitation on the Altar and the Pew.
·1 Peter 4 v 17: “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”
•Many leaders will be recalled back home
•New crop of righteous leaders will be raised
(5) The Church must lay emphasis on preaching:
1.Holiness/Repentance
2.Messages of Hope/Healing/Restoration
3.About the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus
4.Youth Emancipation
5.Benevolence/Community Development
6.Governance/Advocacy
7.Financial Technology/Industry
•Matthew 16 v 18 “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
(6) Nigeria will witness a Divine Intervention at last.
·Obadiah 17 “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
•Divine help will come unto Nigeria
•The captured soul of Nigeria will be delivered
•There shall be heavenly intervention in Nigeria
•There shall be a Dramatic Intervention in Nigeria
•There shall be an unusual security intervention in Nigeria
•Many troublers of Nigeria will pass on
•The Land of Nigeria will rejoice again
•Joel 2 v 18 – 21 v.18″Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.”
v.19 “Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:”
v.20 “But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.”
v.21 “Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.”
(7) Every living soul must handle the year with fervent prayers and Intercession.
·Luke 18 v 1 “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”
•It is a year to pray like never before
•It is a year to give resources to promote God’s Kingdom
•It is a year to hide under the shadow of the Almighty
•It is a year to honour your Maker.
