Penpushing media trains over 70 journalism students within six years – Prince Kayode-Adedeji

The management and editorial board of Penpushing Media, owner of online newspaper and television has disclosed that it has trained over seventy mass communication/journalism students undergoing industrial training with the organization.

Penpushing report that the Founder of the media outlet, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji made this known in his speech at the 6th anniversary lecture of the organization held at new marque events centre, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta.

The media practitioner explained that, this was part of the Penpushing Media achievements since it started operations six years ago, adding that the beneficiaries cut across various institutions in the country

‘Penpushing Media resolved on need to contribute to positive growth of mass communication/journalism undergraduates. As at today, we have trained over 70 students from various tertiary institutions across the country who had their Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) Practical training with us’, he explained

Penpushing further reports that Kayode-Adedeji disclosed that following well grooming of the students the management of some of the institutions which deployed them had written appreciation and commendation letter to Penpushing Media

The Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) in a letter of appreciation by Head of Department Mass Communication, Dr Funmi Alakija dated December 11th, 2021 expressed gratitude to the organization for training the students.

‘We as a department hereby express our gratitude to you and your organization for hosting, and training our students during the SIWES 2019/2020,2020/2021 Academic session, and other previous years engagement with us’, Alakija wrote

‘We thank you for your continuous support and contributions to the development of professionalism through your interactions with our students. Our students as well express their appreciation for the time spent with your media outfit’, the letter reads

‘While seizing this opportunity to thank you, we want to reiterate the fact that we are hoping and looking forward to many more fruitful years of professional exchange(s) through Gowns meeting Town’, that would strengthen the practical and professional exposure cum preparation of our students for their final entrance into various strands of media job market. Thank you. More success in your organization and professional endeavours’, the letter added
